for caramel:
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 270 grams (2/3 cup) corn syrup
- 270 grams ( 1.25 cups ) brown sugar
Cook over medium heat then add in
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 grams (3/4 teaspoon) baking soda
